Maura is a freelance illustrator, storyboard artist and animator living in Venice, California with her boyfriend, Larry, and dog, Penny. A transplant from New York City, Maura grew up in Massachusetts and earned her BFA at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, studying fine art, illustration and animation. Maura now teaches illustration and design in the Communication Arts Department at Otis College of Art.
Maura has drawn storyboards for many talented creatives and worked on numerous award-winning campaigns. Recognized by American Illustration, Maura's editorial work has been published in a variety of magazines such as Nickelodeon and Rolling Stone, and her illustrations have appeared in books, advertisements and even on a couple of buses.
